about SARA
Sara Studd has been drawing and painting for 25 years. Following a lengthy period of living and working in France she returned to England in 2012 and is now based south of Bath in Somerset.
In 2017 she realised a lifelong ambition completing a two year Art and Design Foundation Course at Bath College. She focused predominantly on printmaking. The starting points for her work are all aspects of everyday life and nature. But by editing her images - adding, taking away or layering selected elements - her work acquires a distinctive and far from everyday quality.
She has been exhibiting with increasing success and recognition both in London and France since 1996.
